Meet Lola Washington — I Have Walked This Road Too

I am not teaching this journey from the outside looking in.

I understand what it feels like to want to become a homeowner while working through credit challenges, saving, uncertainty, and the many questions that come with preparing to buy. I know the quiet fear of wondering whether your past decides your future.

I have personally gone through the credit-rebuilding process. I have gone through the saving process. I have experienced the emotions, discipline, and patience required to move from wanting a home to becoming a homeowner.

Today, I am a homeowner — and I am preparing to purchase my second home in 2027 while serving as a REALTOR® helping others prepare for the very same journey.

I am also a REALTOR®, which allows me to combine personal experience with professional real estate knowledge. I understand many of the factors that may be considered during the homebuying process, and I know how important it is for buyers to receive honest education before they begin making major decisions.

I created the Next Chapter Homebuyer Academy™ so future homebuyers would not have to feel lost, ashamed, confused, or alone.

My goal is not to rush anyone into purchasing a home. My goal is to help participants become educated, prepared, supported, and confident enough to take the next step when the time is right.
